Job Description – Faculty Project Manager (Maternity Cover)
Location: Remote (Must be able to work UK hours)
Contract: 14 month contract
Salary banding: £3,000- £4,100 per month
Reports to: Chief Operations Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Faculty Project Manager to cover a period of maternity leave. In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated cross-functional team and external departments to deliver new professional and personal development products, oversee course launches, and support course delivery.
You will act as the central liaison between the RTT School, Technology, Marketing and other departments to ensure that projects run smoothly, on time, and to a high standard. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to bring clarity when translating stakeholders' needs into project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Scope and plan projects, create timelines, and maintain project documentation using Asana and Google Suite.
- Manage and monitor project progress, ensuring accountability for deliverables and quality.
- Oversee the full course creation process from initiation to launch and delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech, Marketing, Design, Video) to deliver successful product launches.
- Maintain oversight of the universal Asana calendar, public webinar schedule, and RTT Open House webinar scheduling to avoid conflicts.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with Tech teams on website updates, landing page builds, and perform quality assurance (QA) checks.
- Work together with the RTT School team and Marketing to ensure all resources are accurate, up to date, and aligned with product portfolios.
- Collaborate with leadership to obtain approvals and clarify project requirements.
- Coach new staff on Asana best practices and ensure consistent usage across teams.
Technical Request, Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting
- Perform QA testing on landing pages, course materials, and other digital assets.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
- Act as a bridge between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams - listening to business needs, clarifying requirements, and translating them into actionable, well-scoped tasks for delivery
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to turn ambiguity into clear action plans.
- Someone with strong analytical thinking skills who can clearly visualise project dependencies, anticipate potential risks, and proactively address issues before they arise.
- Self-organised, proactive, and solution-focused.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management.
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile (especially Scrum).
- Familiarity with digital course development processes.
- Basic knowledge of web development workflows and QA practices.
Desirable Skills
- Understanding of design and video resource creation, file formats, and Adobe Creative Suite (for collaboration with creative teams).
- General knowledge of software development processes (for collaboration with Tech teams).
- Familiarity with training course creation processes.
- Technical troubleshooting skills.
