Salary: $28,000 to £30,000 USD per year
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and creative PR & Events Assistant to support our ambitious 2025 PR, Events, Speaker, and Podcast Strategy. This role is pivotal in supporting Marisa Peer and RTT in achieving significant revenue growth, increasing brand visibility, and expanding market reach.

Key Responsibilities
As a PR & Events Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting key initiatives across events, PR, speaker engagements, and podcasts. Your responsibilities will include:
Event Coordination & Logistics
- Support the Events Manager in planning and executing RTT Live training events, personal development retreats, and workshops.
- Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and service providers while supporting attendee inquiries and post-event reporting.
- Research and explore potential sponsorships and partnerships to support event success.
PR & Media Outreach
- Assist with copywriting press releases, managing media lists, and supporting the PR agency with timely coordination.
- Help implement quarterly PR campaigns, track press coverage, and compile campaign reports.
- Create and maintain press kits, case studies, and media pitches to showcase RTT’s vision and mission.
Speaker & Podcast Engagement
- Identify high-profile speaking and podcast opportunities that align with Marisa’s expertise in mental health and wellness.
- Research and evaluate podcast and speaker event opportunities, assessing audience relevance and guest profiles.
- Manage schedules for speaking engagements and podcasts, ensuring logistical needs are met.
Data Tracking & Reporting
- Support the Head of Publicity by tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs), such as social media engagement, media impressions, and event attendance.
- Compile reports on campaign and event performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Administrative Support
- Maintain and organize media contacts, event attendees, sponsors, and partner databases.
- Provide general administrative support, manage team calendars, and support coordination with internal and external teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- Education: A degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in PR, events, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and event management tools (like Eventbrite).
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to draft press releases, media pitches, and client communications.
- Personal Interest: A passion for mental health, wellness, and personal development is a strong plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Success in this role will be measured by your contribution to the delivery of the 2025 PR, Events, Speaker, and Podcast Strategy. Key areas of impact include:
- Successful support for live events, retreats, and workshops.
- Contribution to the successful execution of PR campaigns and growth in media coverage.
- Effective support for speaker and podcast engagements, leading to an increase in high-profile opportunities.
- Accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting of event, campaign, and media performance metrics.
