Our Events Executive will play a key role in creating seamless, unforgettable experiences worldwide.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organised, Dubai-based Events Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Marisa Peer and RTT events. This role will be critical in delivering world-class events both locally and internationally, managing every detail to ensure each attendee has a meaningful and impactful experience. In addition, you will support Marisa Peer on-the-ground - attending speaker engagements, PR appearances, and podcasts, to ensure that all public-facing activities run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Planning and Coordination

• Local and Global Event Management: Coordinate logistics for RTT Live events worldwide, ensuring smooth and cohesive event execution.
• Venue Sourcing and Booking: Research and secure suitable venues for events, workshops, and conferences, liaising with venues to ensure they meet RTT’s standards for quality and experience.
• Budget Oversight: Track event budgets, estimating costs and seeking approvals to ensure efficient spending while upholding quality standards.
• Event Timeline Creation: Develop detailed timelines for each event, coordinating activities to ensure all elements (catering, setup, registration) are delivered on time.
• Vendor Liaison: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, from AV and catering to décor, ensuring all services meet RTT’s exacting standards.

2. Speaker Engagements and Logistics Support

• Speaker Coordination: Collaborate with Marisa Peer and external speakers, managing schedules, travel, and accommodations to ensure seamless participation.
• Presentation Support: Work with Marisa Peer’s team to coordinate any required materials, such as presentations, handouts, or video content for engagements.
• On-the-Ground Support: Provide support on the day of events, assisting with speaker preparations, attendee registration, and resolving last-minute logistics.

3. Marketing and Communications Support

• Event Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote RTT events across social media and digital channels, creating and executing strategies to drive attendance and engagement.
• Audience Engagement: Design and implement strategies to engage audiences before, during, and after events, collecting feedback and insights to improve future events.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare event reports, gathering data on attendance, engagement, and outcomes, and identifying opportunities to enhance future events.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience in Events and PR: 4/5+ years in event planning, PR, or a related role, with experience managing both live and virtual events on an international scale.
• Strong Organisational Skills: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities efficiently.
• Excellent Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience working directly with speakers, PR contacts, and media outlets.
• Problem-Solver: Ability to think on your feet and address challenges as they arise, especially in high-pressure event environments.
• Passion for Personal Development: A genuine interest in Marisa Peer’s mission and the transformative work of RTT.
• Global Perspective: Experience working in diverse, international settings, with cultural awareness and the ability to cater to diverse audiences.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with event management software, virtual event platforms, and MS Office; familiarity with social media platforms is a plus.
