Hours of Work: 09.00-17.30 Mon-Fri (Hybrid/Remote working)
General Role Description:
To be responsible, in conjunction with team and Director for account management of existing membership accounts.
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and ensuring membership renewal for CPD Standards Office, PTE and Dual accreditation. Working within a team towards agreed set targets and goals.
To provide a high level of membership support and ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient professional and timely manner, in line with the company’s goals, and following the processes and procedures.
The company is small but growing and the Postholder will be expected to work as a team and support one another. You may be asked to undertake other duties than those listed below to assist this.
Job role:
- To be ultimately responsible for ensuring 90% membership renewal to be achieved by regular contact, assistance and ensuring total client satisfaction.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships. Build member engagement through promotion of member benefits and events to the current member base.
- Conducting face to face/ zoom membership meetings with clients on a regular basis, as directed by internal processes and management directives
- Business development activities to expand current member accounts, upselling and increasing portfolios and offering client solutions for their membership.
- Working with Marketing to ensure that members receive the best possible value for their membership.
- Respond to membership enquiries as required.
- Responsible for annual renewal payments.
- Accurately recording all communications on internal CRM system, implementing any updates from member/interactions and meetings
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Good standard of education
- Ability to ensure client retention and ensure renewals
- Previous sales and account management experience minimum 2 years experience
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation and ability to work with a wide range of clients
- Experience and understanding of CPD, CPD schemes and requirements (DESIRABLE)
- Ability to work on own initiative to ensure all membership opportunities are captured and explored and solutions provided to members
- Experience of presenting to clients and senior management
- Ability to work as a member of a team and be adaptable within the company
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Ability to present a professional image at all times in line with company dress code policy
- Good IT skills, including experience of: MS Office, CRM systems
