We have a hugely exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the Marisa Peer group of companies within a fast-paced, diligent and passionate Marketing team within the Health and Wellness industry.

To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to assist our Social Media and PR Manager with the day-to-day running of all social media channels - including horizon and trend scanning, social listening, content planning, creation and design, posting, moderation, scheduling and metrics reporting.

Your main goal will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality content and customer service across all social media channels.

We’re looking for someone with a keen marketing eye who can spot trends and good viral content ideas. Someone with a thirst for keeping up to date with industry trends and has good knowledge of tips and algorithm updates.

Role Responsibilities

Assisting the Social Media Manager with the day-to-day management of the business’s social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok including:

  • Developing results-driven social media strategy and campaigns that align with business goals and KPIs
  • Drafting copy for posts
  • Sourcing and repurposing content - emails/landing pages/blogs/images/videos
  • Optimise company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of social content
  • Creating graphics on Canva - images/YT thumbnails/videos
  • Briefing filming team on video edits - social timestamps
  • Creating UTMs and bitly links for all content
  • Scheduling of all posts across the platforms listed above
  • Comment moderation
  • Assisting with weekly metrics reporting
  • Horizon scanning/social listening

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in a social media role or using social media for business
  • Experience of working across social media platforms - with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
  • Experience of working in customer services
  • Experience of social media for business
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Fluency in the English language - written and verbal
  • Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic design skills - Canva
  • Ideally you have a Marketing / Social Media degree or qualification though this is not essential
