SALARY: up to £40,000 per annum DOE

Providing advice on legal matters and handling companies legal responsibilities liaising with legal counsel when/if required

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and advising on the legalities around new projects and processes
  • Advising on general businesses legalities/risks (including insurance & T&Cs)
  • Driving any IP related matters whilst working with external counsel (trademarks/disputes)
  • Advising fellow team members on matters which are potentially legal in nature
  • Creating relevant policies/processes around legal, handling risk, managing complaints, or other obligations
  • Point of contact for escalated matters for refunds, complaints, IP breaches and other matters
  • Creating relevant legal and other documents as the need arises
  • Point of contact for GDPR/data protection queries or issues
  • Attending to student queries about legalities/data protection or regulations
  • Assessing the viability of new projects through research and presenting proposals and conclusions


  • Previous legal experience in a similar role - Minimum three years
  • Law Degree (minimum 2:1)
