In this role you will be responsible for the development of LMS and e-learning Systems to enhance the learner experience and improve outcomes. You will lead LMS and System upgrades, modifications, and integrations, as well as implementation of new systems as required. In addition, you will spearhead a transition to mobile capabilities within the RTT Learning Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team across multiple projects to enhance Learning and improve user experience
  • Manage the building and maintenance of Learner Management Systems and system automations, responding to needs of the business and student feedback
  • Support team members and utilising agile project management practices to maintain flexible yet efficient workflow across the department
  • Building and interpreting custom reports to carry out import and export functions within the LMS and/or similar systems
  • Serve as a liaison between the LMS team, senior management and wider school to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects
  • Responsible for LMS customer service and technical support for students and graduates
  • Oversee the rollout of new e-learning products
  • Work within Talent LMS and/or other similar platforms to create and implement specific modules to deliver world-class training.
  • Ensure the technology and functionality of the resources works within the system
  • Interpret visions from tutors, trainers or development teams, and design and implement material from the ground up working from briefs and feedback, to capture ideas and transform into content.
  • Lead in the creation of an eLearning curriculum, as part of a wider blended learning solution, in support of learning and user adoption of relevant products and platforms, ensuring product features, functionality, and best practice are widely utilised amongst users across the organisation.
  • Analysing & contributing to an improved delivery model by introducing new resources as well as changing current resources being used
  • Testing modules to ensure effectiveness and functionality within the e-learning environment and take responsibility for effectiveness of the online learning platform
  • Assist with the LMS integrations with other systems


  • Proven team leadership experience
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System or Virtual Learning Environment,
  • Experience in design software solutions, product/domain/technical/business knowledge.
  • Coding experience, including JavaScript and CSS to customise learning platforms
  • Collaborative and confident in technical ability, communication skills and management
  • Demonstrate curriculum planning skills, learning content and assessment material for new e-learning modules
  • Demonstrable project management skills required
  • Staying up to date with the latest design methods and technologies
  • Commitment to focus on quality whilst keeping a continuous improvement mindset
  • Comfortable working within a fast-past (scale-up) changing environment
  • Strong sense of organisation
