CPD Sales Advisor
The CPD Standards Office is a subsidiary business to the Marisa Peer Group.
We usually respond within two weeks
This is a hybrid position which includes working in the office in Staines, working from home, and clients.
Salary: £39,000 per annum plus commission package
Reports to: Managing Director
Hours of Work: 09.00-17.30 Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)
The Company and Role
To be responsible, in conjunction with the CPD Advisory team and Director Sales
Responsible for external business development and sales ensuring customer satisfaction. Working within a team towards agreed set targets and goals.
To provide a high level sales support and ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient professional and timely manner, in line with the company’s goals, and following the processes and procedures.
You will be expected to work as a team and support one another. You may be asked to undertake other duties than those listed below to assist this.
Key Responsibilities
- Being responsible for CPD specialist areas and keeping up to date on CPD policies and activities within that area
- Working with marketing to support with updates and links to specialist area
- You will be allocated a handful of key industries to sell into alongside inbound leads
- Encouraged to sell CPD Institute into those areas alongside CPD, COE, Corporate Sales and other revenue streams
- Building and maintaining strong relationships. Build engagement to your sales leads ensuring swift closing rates
- Conducting face to face/ zoom membership and face to face meetings with clients on a regular basis, as directed by management.
- Business development activities offering client solutions for their individual memberships
- Working with marketing to ensure that sales leads receive the best possible value for their new memberships
- Accurately recording all communications on internal CRM system, implementing any updates from new sales interactions and meetings and whatsapp messages
- Working with marketing team to generate sales and business developments resources as applicable.
Requirements
- Good standard of education
- At least 2 years Previous sales and experience and proof of sales targets achieved on a regular monthly basis – proof of ability to close sales deals
- High degree of accuracy
- Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
- Experience and understanding of CPD, CPD schemes and requirements (DESIRABLE)
- Ability to work on own initiative and pay close attention to detail to ensure all marketing opportunities are captured and explored
- Excellent communication skills,
- High level of written and oral communication, including presentation skills.
- Experience of presenting to clients and senior management as and when required
- Ability to work as a member of a team and be adaptable within the company
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Ability to present a professional image at all times
- Ability to communicate well with a wide range of people
- Good IT skills, including experience of: MS Office, Wordpress, KEAP/Infusion Soft
