Salary: £50,000 per annum with growth opportunities
The Company and Role
We're looking for a Live Event Production Manager to develop and deliver world class events on a global scale. This role is needed to source, plan, prepare and implement international events that will make a first-class impact on our existing and new attendees and are remembered as a great experience. You’ll have a great eye for detail and thrive on problem solving, customer service and hosting.
We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and expert organisational and planning skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
- Source international venues
- Enter into contract negotiations and ensure
- Manage and support the small Events team as it continues to grow – people management skills essential.
- Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Lead promotional activities for the event
- Plan social events
- Logistics - responsibility for getting everything needed to support delivery delivered to the venue
- Ensure correct level of staff needed to operate event successfully
- Approve all aspects before the day of the event
- Working with the Events team to ensure events are completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
- Analyse the event’s success and prepare reports
Requirements
- Have proven experience as an Event Planning Manager on a global scale
- Skilled in project management
- Excellent people manager and relationship builder
- Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
- Computer savvy; proficient in GSuite and Excel
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Excellent organisational skills
- A knack for problem-solving
- Customer-service orientation
- Team player with leadership skills
- Qualification in hospitality/PR/Marketing a bonus but not essential
This is a demanding role with a great deal of moving parts. You will need to thrive in this environment, be highly motivated and someone who enjoys an autonomous work style.
